INTRODUCING THE APRON SERIES
There is something about an apron that is like wearing a uniform. Aprons have a beautiful history associated with the earliest makers, practicality at its core. Today's apron is neat, has a look of purpose and of course, it’s very functional for protecting the clothes underneath. It shows intent and whether you are making, at home or work, this staple item is part of the experience.

    MATERIAL MATTERS
If you scroll the internet you will see many aprons, some are plain and polyester and others are fancy with leather trims and buckles. At Borthwick, we never compromise on quality and always strive to source from premium UK mills for fabrics that will not only look good but age beautifully with time.
We selected a mid-weight sanded canvas from renowned Brisbane Moss. It’s soft touch yet the canvas weave ensures durability. We kept the design simple and let the fabric sing!

    THE MAKE
We make the aprons at our partner factory in Fife, Scotland. There is nothing more grounding than seeing the material arrive to be cut, sewn and made by skilled craftspeople. The multiple hands that touch each item for it to be ready to pack and send to our customers is a precision process and we are proud to keep the skills in Scotland.
APRON STYLES
We started to attract and supply hospitality brands and learned a thing or two about requirements for hospitality leading us to develop 3 styles;
- The Wrap utility apron that wraps around the body which is designed for both standing and sitting positions
 - The Full Bib apron with sturdy webbing straps and purposeful pockets
 - The Half apron for less messy work

Our idea was to elevate these styles in premium fabric to ensure they last many work days to come...
